Steambath Generator Sizing

STEAMBATH GENERATOR SIZING

Multiply the cubic footage to one of the wall finishes % factor:

Ceramic Tile 25%
Natural Stone (granite, marble, slate) 100%
Acrylic/Fiber Glass 0%
Steam Line 40+ feet long 20%
Glass or Glass Block 10% (per wall)

Measure the inside length, width, and height (in feet) of the steam shower with ceramic tile walls.

Multiply the three measurements together to get the basic room volume cubic feet.
LxWxH = Cubic Feet x % Percentage Factor (wall finish chart)

EXAMPLE: 7ft length, 5ft wide, 7ft high (7x5x7=245) x 25% (ceramic wall finish)

245 + 61.25 = 306.25 Cubic Feet Total (round up to next size generator available).

Now select the next size of Steam Generator model generator which exceeds the calculated room cubic feet. This case the 9KW (9000 watts) generator is required. If there is doubt in size, it is recommended to choose the next larger size.
